Safari Memory

A pairs game over twenty-eight African animals, growing from six pairs to twenty-seven across eight timed levels. Matching consecutive pairs builds a combo that multiplies the score, and each match shows a note about the animal.

What is playing against you

Nothing plays against you. You are racing a timer.

No opponent — a timer or a spawner safari-memory-engine.ts
Nothing is playing against you: your opponent is the clock. The cards are shuffled once at the start and nothing is decided after that.

What this version is not

A memory game, reimplemented from the prototype's React version. The eight levels, the twenty-eight animals and the combo scoring are as the prototype had them.

The animal facts and conservation statuses shown when you match a pair are unsourced: they came with the prototype, no reference was given for any of them, and IUCN listings change over time. Read them as prompts to look something up, not as current data. The animals are rendered as emoji, so exactly what you see depends on your device's font.
